We will be hosting two events; the first, an evening of discussion with Donna about her book, The Four Walls of My Freedom, on Thursday, February 13, 2014 from 7-9pm. This family memoir takes the reader through her own experiences raising her son, Nicholas, who has cerebral palsy, and the challenges and joys they have experienced as a family. This  free event will be co-hosted by Tyze, and will be held at their location in Vancouver. Registration is required; please contact inquiries@plan.ca or 604-439-9566 to attend.

Our second event will be a full-day workshop on Caregivers Advocacy, facilitated by Donna in Vancouver on Saturday, February 15,  from 10am-4pm. This workshop, developed and run through the Advocacy School, focuses on providing practical ideas and tools to families dealing with caregiving and their efforts to support and advocate for their loved ones. For more information on this workshop, please click here. There is a $45 fee to attend this workshop. Registration is required, and can be done online.

Families, friends, caregivers and professionals are all welcome!  To learn more about these events, to register, or to purchase Donna’s book, please email inquiries@plan.ca or call the PLAN office.
