Nicole has spent many years engaged in the credit union sector, managing social purpose programs to create lasting community impact. She is deeply committed to genuine relationship building and the cooperative spirit of people helping people. She completed her BA at Simon Fraser University and holds certificates in Corporate Citizenship/Community Impact from Boston College and the Canadian Credit Union Association.
Nicole currently works as Program Manager of the Credit Union Foundation of BC, supporting students facing barriers to accessing and completing post-secondary education. She is honoured to be able to help advance the foundation’s vision of
resilient and interconnected communities and a future where everyone is able to reach their full potential.
As a sibling to a sister with Turner’s Syndrome and as a mom to a hard-of-hearing child, Nicole brings an understanding of the challenges and opportunities that exist around access, equity and inclusion. She welcomes the opportunity to become involved with PLAN, learn from such a caring and committed team, and make a difference in the lives of PLAN members and their families.
