Family Network

May 20 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm PDT

We invite you to join fellow families for a thoughtful conversation about fostering meaningful relationships and connections that work for our loved ones living with a disability.

Please join us online on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM for a Family Network conversation where we’ll explore:

What does connection look like for our loved ones?

How can social opportunities be cultivated to match unique communication styles and preferences?

Who are the people our loved ones can count on—and how can these relationships be nurtured?

What is working (or not working) as our loved ones explore friendships and reconnections?

Theme: Connections That Work: Strategies for Nurturing Meaningful Relationships
Date: Tuesday, May 20, 2025
Time: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM (PDT)

Whether you’re just beginning to think about building relationships or are looking for ways to strengthen existing connections, your insights and experiences are welcome.

Please note: This is not a presentation or workshop. It’s a chance for families to gather, reflect, and share ideas in a welcoming space. The focus isn’t on what families are or aren’t doing—it’s about learning from each other and exploring possibilities together.

We hope you can join us. Kindly RSVP by emailing Claire Inkster at cinkster@plan.ca

Connect One-on-One with Other Families!

If you’d like to connect with others who share similar life experiences, we can help set up one-on-one connections outside of the monthly Family Network calls.

From meeting at a park to a simple phone call or video chat, these personal interactions foster a sense of belonging—even from a distance.

To get connected, please reach out to Shelley  or Claire at hello@plan.ca

We look forward to helping you build meaningful connections! 💙
