Dear PLAN Family and Friends,
Summer is here and so are the details about PLAN’s 2019 Annual Summer Picnic. This year’s picnic will take place on Saturday the 10th of August from 11 am to 2 pm. We are hoping you can join us. Everyone is welcome – the more the merrier!
For lunch, hamburgers and hot-dogs will be served. We’d like to ask for you to bring a salad, dessert, or any food dish you’d like to share.
Since 2019 is PLAN’s 30th Anniversary, we will also have a huge cake and will be celebrating highlights from the last 3 decades.
Date Saturday the 10th of August 2019
Time 11 am – 2 pm
Location Queen’s Park in New Westminister, Picnic Shelter #1 (see map below)
Though our community has made many great memories at Queen’s Park, due to challenges with the accessibility of the picnic shelter, PLAN will be hosting the 2020 annual summer picnic at a new location which everyone can easily access. If you know of a picnic spot that is easily accessible for next years event please email hello@plan.ca or Claire.
As well as our community spending quality time together, there will be other fun activities including Door Prizes, Raffle Tickets, and a 50/50 Draw – tickets will be $2.00 for 1 or $5.00 for 3.
