Media Correction

Dear PLAN Members and Community of Support,

Some of you may be aware of a recent newspaper article that referred to Ted Kuntz and his involvement and affiliation with PLAN.  Several statements made in this article mischaracterized the situation, including the reason why Ted is no longer serving on PLAN’s board.

We want to clarify that Ted’s appointment to the PLAN board was not renewed as he had served a maximum number of years as a board member, and also, to take time away to grieve the passing of his son, Josh – not because of his views on vaccination.

PLAN is aware of Ted’s involvement with Vaccine Choice Canada. While we acknowledge that Ted is entitled to his own personal beliefs, PLAN supports all public health measures implemented in Canada to prevent the spread and health impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We would like to thank Ted for his service and dedication to PLAN, helping families secure the future of loved ones with disabilities.

If you have any questions about this, or would like to chat further, please contact me directly.

Sincerely,

Rebecca Pauls

Executive Director
