Sharing the celebration of Marge’s joyful life

Marge’s friends and family, who were able to attend, enjoyed looking at beautiful photos of her; a scrapbook full of Newspaper articles and pictures of her accomplishments and accolades that Laura had put together and 2 short videos of Marge that her grandson and son-in-law make available for us to watch. Laura had arranged artwork throughout the room, that her mom enjoyed having hanging in her home and in her suite at her care facility, she invited people to take home ones that people may like as a memory of her mom. People were so happy to do so and I was able to get one of my favourites – thanks Laura.

A special time happened where we all formed a circle, where people shared their favourite memory of Marge and we all laughed and cried at these special memories people had of our dear Marge. The bagpiper added an extra special touch to the event and reminded many of us when he played for her birthday outside in the pouring rain during COVID.

A note from Marge’s family:

“Thank you to all who shared this journey in my life and my families the journey priori to the fall and the love and support that you continued to give and stayed giving  both myself and my mom the courage to keep going and find joy in days all the beautiful giving gestures to put a smile on my moms face and encourage her to keep being the strong upbeat women she was a warrior till the end.”
