Announcing Our New Small Group Future Planning Conversations This Fall

This fall, we are thrilled to introduce a new initiative at PLAN that offers a collaborative and supportive environment for future planning. As the season changes, it’s an appropriate time to reflect on the future and ensure our planning aligns with the needs of our families.

Our New Series

We have launched a series of Small Group Future Planning Conversations specifically designed for PLAN members. This initiative is a proactive approach to help families start, build, and refresh their future planning tools. It provides an opportunity for members to engage deeply with critical planning processes in a supportive group setting.

Focus and Resources

The conversations utilize several key resources provided by PLAN, including:

  • Safe and Secure Book and Worksheets
  • The Final Act of Kindness
  • Unprepared to Peace of Mind

These materials are integral to our discussions, offering comprehensive guidance and helping us navigate important aspects of future planning effectively.

Series Schedule

The series began on Wednesday, October 16th and will continue every Wednesday at 10 AM through November 20th. The conversations are held via Zoom, making them accessible to all members regardless of their location. Each session focuses on a specific topic crucial to future planning:

  • October 16th: Preparing for a Good Death; The Info That’s Needed
  • October 23rd: My Information and Affairs in Relation to My Son or Daughter
  • October 30th: My End of Life Wishes Review
  • November 6th: Ways to Express My Wishes for the Next Generation
  • November 13th: Our Sons and Daughters’ Review Part 1
  • November 20th: Our Sons and Daughters’ Review Part 2

Our Commitment

This series of conversations is part of PLAN’s ongoing commitment to support families in their journey of future planning. By providing a structured and communal space, we facilitate not just the transfer of knowledge but also the sharing of personal experiences and strategies among families.

As this new series unfolds, we continue to be dedicated to empowering our members with the tools and support necessary to navigate the complexities of future planning. This initiative is just one of the many ways we are working to ensure that every family at PLAN can face the future with confidence and security.
