A creative, music-loving young man in Richmond is looking for a support worker for approximately 12–15 hours per week:
Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 12:30 pm to around 5:30 pm.
This is a great fit for someone who enjoys music, meeting new people, and supporting meaningful connections. Every week brings variety—community outings, music performances, workshops, and social activities in Richmond and beyond.
About Him
He is a sensitive, kind, and creative person who loves music—especially from the 1920’s through the 1970’s. He shares his passion as a performer, radio show host, and workshop leader, and enjoys exploring parks, beaches, and waterfronts, as well as participating in groups like Toastmasters.
The role includes:
Accompanying him to music performances, workshops, and community events
Supporting connections and friendships in the community
Assisting with performance set-up (mic, speakers, guitars) and transportation to events
Encouraging skill development and exploring new activities
Offering practical support such as research on housing options or self-employment leads
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
$2M liability insurance
Criminal record check
Comfortable supporting a neurodiverse adult in both social and community settings
Compensation:
$25/hour plus mileage reimbursement
