Board of Directors

Families and community builders working together.

Sharon DiSanto

Sharon has contributed to PLAN in many ways over the past 30 years including as a Mentor, advocate, friend, family member, committee member, and since September 2018 as a board member. She is also a member of the PLAN Wise Elders committee. Sharon is a retired registered social worker (RSW) who focussed on the field of mental health and wellness for much of her career and is a well-known advocate for family leadership in our communities. Sharon has served on boards and founding boards for several family-driven organizations over the years.

Sharon and her sister are committed to PLAN because they believe in the mission and values that inspire our work to support people who are socially isolated to live good lives in their community, and also to help families make plans to secure the future for their loved ones.
In Sharon’s own words, “Serving on PLAN’s Board of Directors is one small part of ensuring that a good life is within everyone’s reach”.
