Community Connector – South Vancouver and Burnaby Areas

We are brothers who proudly celebrate our Jewish heritage with friends and family while eating delicious Jewish holiday foods. We live a 15-minute drive from each other, with one of us in the Killarney area of Vancouver and the other in the Edmonds area of Burnaby.

We love gathering with friends and anything to do with PLAN events, dining at restaurants and picnic meals, watching baseball and hockey, playing darts and minigolf, and watching planes at YVR. We used to play sports with the Special Olympics such as bowling, bocci, and baseball. One of us is a huge fan of Johnny Cash and is more private … that is until you get to know me! The other enjoys listening to the Golden Oldies … I’ll be happy to chat right away! As you get to know us you’ll discover we both like sharing our views and are quite social. 

We would like a Community Connector to help us hold our network of friends and family together and keep us connected to them by sharing updates and helping us set up events and activities we can do together. Our network members live in Vancouver, Burnaby, and on Vancouver Island. A core group of network members helps us with supported decision-making, future planning, and ensures we live a good quality life. The larger network gathers for a fun social group activity every 2 months.
